We at Rood Construction are very proud of our building heritage and it's been an honor and a privilege to be a part of the the DeKalb County Business Community and a member of the DeKalb County Building and Development Association. We are looking forward to many more wonderful years serving our customers in this area.

    Rood Construction originally started in Genoa, IL in the mid 1960's and grew to a full time Development/Construction organization. Eventually we moved our office from Genoa to 8705 N. Rood Rd. Kingston, IL. Our company has been serving the Residential, Commercial, and Remodeling needs in the DeKalb County area ever since.

    Currently we are building homes in our new subdivision, "Hickory Ridge", which is located right off of Route 72 just west of Kirkland, IL. This subdivision is offering semi-custom and custom homes as well as several wooded lots available for that ultimate custom home experience. "Hickory Ridge" is a pleasurable country type setting with lot sizes at a minimum of 3/4 acre.

    Our business attitude towards our customers in regards to quality and economics has always been the single, most important key in our operations when it comes to the products and services we supply. Our goal is to gain the respect and trust of each and every customer we serve, to let them know each job is important to us and that no job is too small or too large.

    The advertisement budget we have is small. We rely on our work ethic and our high standards of quality to sell our business. We feel that our customers act as salesmen at times for us and would like to thank them all very much and appreciate their business throughout the years.
